Parents have the awesome responsibility and privilege of nurturing, loving, encouraging and supporting their children. Parents are given the opportunity to teach their children about life, morals and values. Parents can gently shape their children into future productive, caring members of society by having healthy age-appropriate expectations, by the use of appropriate discipline techniques, and by giving them proper guidance.

Our society is called upon to value the myriad of healthy contributions that both parents bring to the family. Involved parents have the capacity to mold and shape their child’s intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development. Involved parents have the enormous capacity to model a healthy relationship to their children by being committed to their spouse within marriage. Involved parents’ sacrifices, efforts, presence and never-ending dedication to the family greatly benefits a child’s whole being.

Parents, the future of our children and our families rest in your hands. Stay committed! Stay present! Stay involved with your family!

The “Parents As Leaders” program is held every Wednesday night from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The class starts with prayer and ends with dinner for everyone. Moms and dads are encouraged to bring their kids with them to the program. We provide free childcare during the classes.
