On Tuesday, March 10th, more than 2 dozen students attended the newly formed UNM Students For Life. Fr Stephen spoke at the meeting about various life topics and upcoming PDL events and he will continue to help facilitate the groups progress.
Josh Hererra, SFL’s President showed “Choice Blues,” a graphic abortion video and the group presented Father with a “baby basket” for PDL’s Gabriel Project. The UNM SFL are committed to participating in the 40 Days Campaign and the Good Friday Jericho Walk.
The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month on the UNM campus. Project Defending Life is also hosting a “youth and youth minister” Mass on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Holy Innocents chapel. Mass will begin at 7 pm with a brainstorming pizza meeting afterwards. For more information on the Mass see Upcoming Events.
