Grim Reaper Stalks America

Tomorrow is All Souls Day, a special solemnity when we honor our loved ones whose earthly bodies passed into death to receive the breath of life eternal. But there is a multitude who never experienced life in the world. Their little bodies were snatched from life in their mothers’ wombs in the hidden, silent massacre of innocents. Let us who fight to end the grim reaper’s harvest of innocent unborn lives in our country remember and pray for all these lost souls.

America is at a crossroads once again. The murder of innocent babies was legalized in 1973 in America. This event shook the world, propelled our people into a moral free fall, corrupting many nations who looked up to America as a country blessed by abundance, who cherished life and, with a generous spirit, rushed in to aid her neighbors when threatened by wars and natural disasters, so many confronted by human misery.

We are in 2008 once again facing a terrible upheaval and erosion in our nation’s moral moorings. A pro-abortion president and veto-proof majority in the U.S. Congress will sweep away all restrictions on legalized abortion. At the same time, homosexual marriages may soon become the law of the land. What does this all mean? Hospitals and medical practitioners affiliated with the Church may be forced to commit abortions or refer patients to abortionists against their consciences. All Catholic adoption agencies may be forced to close if required to accept homosexual parents. Crisis pregnancies may be forced to shut down if abortion referral isn’t offered. Our minor daughters may be taken legally by sexual predators to abortion facilities without our knowledge and consent.
The health care industry and corporations may be forced to cover abortion services and benefits. We, the taxpayers, will lose control over all domestic and international funding of abortion. Many may lose their jobs if they speak out against unrestricted abortion. Yes, a terrible time of persecution may be awaiting us.

Many Americans are once again blind to the scepter of the grim reaper stalking America, seeking to devour many souls. What can we do in the final days before the election?

* Pray and fast before the election. Election novena * Join us for the prayer rally at PDL (625 San Mateo Blvd) on Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 2-3pm * Inform your family, friends, and neighbors of the stark contrast in the choice of candidates before them. * Download and distribute wherever you can the America! This Election is About Life or Death! Lastly, let us remember we are a people of hope, we rely on God for everything. “Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might… we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities… against the world rulers of this present darkness… take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.” (Eph. 6:10-13)
