You can Help us improve our site's Google Rank!

Wed Oct 1 '08

Project Defending Life shows up as number 10 on the first page of a Google search for “abortion albuquerque”. This is great news! Can you help us get even higher in the list?

When other Web sites link to the Project Defending Life Web site, our Google page rank improves and we appear higher in the list of search results. You can help us by creating links from other Web sites to the PDL Web site. You can create links to the front page of the PDL site or you can create links to individual pages, like news or event pages.

How do you make links on other Web sites, you ask? It’s easier than you might think.

Your own site

If you have a business or a personal Web site, you or your webmaster can easily add links to businesses and organizations you support. Just create a link to http://www.defendinglife.org and use the text “Project Defending Life – Stopping abortions in Albuquerque.” The link would look like this:

Your own blog

If you publish your own blog, you may already be posting articles on pro-life topics. Make it a habit to post regular articles about items you’ve seen on the PDL Web site, like upcoming events and news stories. To link to a particular news or event page on the PDL Web site, just navigate to the relevant page at PDL and copy the text from the URL or Location field at the top of your browser window. Use that text to create your link. If you aren’t sure how to create the link, refer to your blog software’s documentation or contact webmaster@defendinglife.org for help.

Other people’s blogs

Yes, you can even create links on other people’s blogs. It’s especially fun to do this on pro-choice blogs! If you read a pro-choice blog that spouts some standard pro-choice lie, you may be able to find a resource on the PDL site that refutes it. Leave a comment on the blog and include a link to the PDL web site as your supporting documentation. This way, you can actually use a pro-choice Web site to spread the pro-life message!
