Gabriel Project Invited to the Basilica of San Albino
The Gabriel Project was invited to the Basilica of San Albino in Mesilla, New Mexico recently to start the ministry within the Diocese of Las Cruces. Father Richard Catanach, Pastor of San Albino and Coordinators Richard and Janet Hinderliter; obtained permission from Bishop Ramirez to begin the Ministry within the Diocese of Las Cruces. We hope this is the beginning of many Gabriel Project Ministries in our sister Diocese.
Window to the Womb Ministry Welcomes Three Members
Our “Window to the Womb” ministry recently welcomed three members of The Little Flower Girls Group from Holy Ghost Parish. One of our mom’s, Marlenn was happy to have the ultrasound of her baby girl, and the girls were tickled to see the baby’s heart beating and watch her moving her arms and legs.
Volunteers Continue to Show Support to PDL
Every Wednesday Debbie and her four sons drop off baked goodies for our Better Mother’s class. Debbie also donates items for our new mom’s and their kids, ie coloring books, crayons, toys, and speciality items for our mom’s (make-up, figurines, etc). We are so thankful for her continued charity!
Baby Sergio Born May 24, 2009
Baby Sergio (pictured here with mom Faye) was born on May 24th. The Gabriel Project helps with moms regardless of where they live. Faye and Baby Sergio live in the far East Mountains.

Gabriel Project Gathers Moms for Summer Outing
The Gabriel Project gathered a number of our Moms together and went on a picnic and then to the Zoo on a very hot July day. Four of our Moms are expecting their new babies to be born any day now. We had 11 Moms with their kids and some with other family members that took part in our summer event. Most of the Moms attending are part of the Wednesday “Better Mothers” educational program. Please keep posted to see pics of the new babies when they arrive.
Baby Briana Born June 22, 2009
Baby Brianna was born Monday, June 22nd. Mama Angelicia and baby were sent home the next day and doing very well. You can help mothers like Angelicia choose life by getting involved in the mom’s ministry or by donating to project defending life.
The Gabriel Project Reaches Past Albuquerque
The Gabriel Project is reaching out to prenant women in crisis throughout the state of New Mexico. It is surprising the number of native american women who are brought to Albuquerque for abortions. Pictured here is one of our Gabriel moms with her grandmother and her other two children.
