We go to Holy Child Parish and what a special event for my little girls to experience. They are only 4 and 5 1/2, so the importance doesn’t register, but I let them know how special this was. They were thrilled to have her at our mass and be able to kneel before her and touch the canvas before and after mass.

I went to adoration from 3:30-6:30 in the morning on Monday before having to go to work. What a peaceful and wonderful way to start a day/week. I took my little girls prayer books and prayer cards to touch to the image, praying for her guidance of them and us as a family. And I’ll have you know that even at 3 and 4 in the morning there were over a dozen people in church all the time, and even more as normal morning times approached. Many people came and stayed for a while, while some came for only a few moments before going to work. What a gift you brought to us all!
