Saturday, October 25, brought 18 youth to the PDL chapel and to Planned Parenthood’s “doorstep” to pray for mothers and their unborn babies.

Tom Sullivan, youth director at St. Helen’s Parish, his wife Cathy, and two adult volunteers brought the youth into Albuquerque for the weekend. Father Anthony Romero offered the sacrament of reconciliation then celebrated Mass Saturday evening. A short talk was given regarding the make up and functions of the PDL network. Everyone experienced the “fruits” of PDL’s work when Deidra, one of our moms who is 18 weeks pregnant, came in. All the kids saw the baby in the womb, it was quite impressive and proof once more of God’s awesome power!

After pizza, soda and snacks, the group watched the biography of Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta. The group spent Sunday morning praying outside Planned Parenthood’s abortion mill then headed back to Portales on their 4 hour ride.
