40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.
2022 Fall Campaign!
The Fall 40 Days for Life is coming up this September 28-November 6! We are really trying to make it our biggest campaign yet, to push back on all the abortion tourism New Mexico is experiencing. Please consider signing up for one hour of prayer on the sidewalk of either Southwestern Women's Options (522 Lomas blvd. NE) or Planned Parenthood (701 San Mateo blvd. NE). Scan the barcode to the right to sign up for hours and come out to our opening rally on Sunday evening, September 25th with special 40 Days for Life guest speakers!

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life, and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that You have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion. Today I commit myself never to be silent, never to be passive, never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all.

It Takes A Village...
During the Spring 2021 campaign, we were blessed to see 8 women turn away from the abortion mills. Thank you for your prayers and sacrifices!
How Do I Do This?
Holding non-graphic signs, praying the rosary or any other prayer, or going over the daily 40 Days for Life devotionals are all ways we can ask God to close down Planned Parenthood and help those who have participated in abortions.
You are not expected to speak to any of the employees or clients. We recommend that you go through sidewalk counseling training with Sidewalk Advocates for Life-ABQ, before you do so.
What Do I Need?

Statement of Peace: Make sure to have read and sign the statement of peace and turn in to your church or Project Defending Life. All documents are linked below.

Sunblock, water bottle, and/or umbrella! Be prepared for the heat, cold, rain, and/or sun.

Wear appropriate clothing! Check the weather the day before or the day of to ensure you are comfortable for the one-hour of prayer.
