Fall 40 Days for Life Report
Friends for Life, A couple weeks ago, we sent out an email requesting financial aid to help meet our clients' needs. We needed a total of $433.89 to purchase a Pack n Play for one client and to pay for a hotel stay for another. We are so pleased and thankful to be able to inform you all that, due to your generosity and faithfulness to the Lord's prompting, we over-exceeded our goals! The client who was in the hotel is now in a stable housing situation, and our client who received the Pack n Play is preparing to welcome her child into the world, now with a safe place to sleep. We couldn’t have done this without you!
40 Days for Life Fall Campaign Update
We would also like to thank each of you for doing your part to successfully bring the 2019 Fall Campaign to fruition. Our Albuquerque campaign had 6 confirmed babies saved from abortion! Globally, there were 454 saves documented.
On October 26th, several churches participated in the vigil in front of Planned Parenthood on San Mateo on a brisk Saturday morning. One of our faithful client advocates, Jane Belville, stood outside with her parish, Holy Child in Tijeras, and Abortion Free NM among other churches.
She shared that around noon that day, a young woman and her boyfriend went into the abortion facility. After 20 minutes of being inside, the young woman walk out of the facility and stopped to speak to a woman from Estancia Valley Church who was also standing at Planned Parenthood to pray. She told the woman that her and her boyfriend changed their minds about their abortion appointment that day because of all the people praying on the sidewalk. Without your presence, a young couple would have lost their baby.
Peacefully praying in front of abortion facilities has saved many lives, including the man and woman from a lifetime of pain from abortion. We hope that next year’s campaign will be even more blessed!
